Ice Tea Lolly Recipe
Written by Sewwie
These iced tea lollies are slightly sweet, infused with Arthur Dove Tea Co Carrot cake tea and unthinkably easy to make. Totally refreshing for all the glorious British sunshine we’ve been having and naturally caffeine-free too.
When I was kindly asked to share my recipe for my tea ice lollies I wanted to go for something a little bit different. In the summertime you’ll see a whole range of fruity flavours but has anyone ever considered using tea to make classic home favourites? Carrot cake tea has a slightly sweet taste already and adding Yorkshire Honey to the cold brew mixture brings out the sweetness of the Rooibos. How wonderful!

Ingredients for 6 Carrot Cake Ice Lollies:
1 Tablespoon of Carrot Cake Tea
200ml hot water
Method:
Add the carrot cake tea into a tea strainer (If you don't have a tea strainer you can also add the loose tea to the water and strain the tea with a regular sieve once ready).
Bring the kettle up to almost boiling and add the heated water to a mug with the tea and let steep for at least 5 minutes.
Remove the tea strainer and allow the tea to cool.
Add Yorkshire honey to sweeten to your taste
Get your ice lolly moulds ready
Fill up each mould with the brewed tea and leave in the freezer to set overnight.
QUICK TIP: Before serving, run the mould under a tap with some warm water. This makes them super easy to remove from the mould.
Enjoy! 😊
